Hi, everyone!
I am Shawn Deng(xiaoxiang), the Chinese lad in class. So happy to get this blog for starting my on-line life at Penn State with you guys! Even I have a blog when I was in my country, the English blog is totally new one for me.
When I was level-3 student at IECP, Sultan said it's so weird for a name containing double "X", therefore, I prefer to use my English name "Shawn". It's also have the similar pronunciation.
I came to U.S. for my advanced academic life after got my Master degree of Breeding from GuangXi Agriculture College. But, it definitely isn't my whole story. I love living in PennState because I get to meet so many excellent people from over the world. Just like Ruth ? Haha~:)
OK, that's it. By the way, I really like this Blog Work" and I am going to "overuse" in coming days! See you!

ReplyDeleteAre you going to continue studying at PSU or another university after IECP?
Another American university may be a another choice. But if I would get a full-scholarship, why not PSU?

Delete1. How did you feel about your discussion experience? What did you enjoy and what was difficult?
ReplyDeleteI would like to say that this discussion experience is so excellent! But the content is very challengng for me, because each article of them is difficult to read. As our first guide said, "here even has some GRE vocabularyies." However, most of us participated this activity preparedly, and I am so glad to share the other's opinion at that moment. The most difficult part must be to make agreement for each standard.
Hello Xiaoxiang Deng,
You have good ideas. I noticed you mentioned that it was difficult to reach an agreement with your group. Which one was most difficult, to convince your group's members with your point of view or to convince yourself with their opinions?
Thanks again Xiaoxiang.
