Additional Post for Reading: Three books I would like
Book No.1 My Nama is Red, by Ferit Orhan Pamuk, winner of 2006 Nobel Prize in literature.
I have already read the Chinese version yet. I think it's good for me to have a try.
Book No.2 The Stars, the Snow, the Fire: Twenty-Five Years in the Alaska Wilderness, by John Haines, my favorite America poet, writer. I got a bilingual version when I was a high school boy but now I would like renew my memory.
Book No.3 The Vanished Man,by Jeffery Deaver. No one can replace, Jeffery is my absolute idol! Since I became a great fan of detective novel, I has collected almost his novels in Chinese.

Need to know some about modern techniques and concepts in Plant Molecular Biology.
|
It's a prerequisite course for some advanced courses. I wonder if there has some distinctions from what I had been tought.

Plant disease survey, and control strategies.
THat's one of my academical interests. |

1. How did you feel about your discussion experience? What did you enjoy and what was difficult?
2. Which letter from #5 on page 1 of the worksheet was hardest to decide in your group? Why do you think it was the hardest?
I would like to say that this discussion experience is so excellent! But the content is very challengng for me, because each article of them is difficult to read. As our first guide said, "here even has some GRE vocabularyies." However, most of us participated this activity preparedly, and I am so glad to share the other's opinion at that moment. The most difficult part must be to make agreement for each standard.
a: "most possible for me to do in the same situation" -> "least possible"
b: "most likely to be remembered in the future" --> "least likely"
c: "most affected/changed by their experience" --> "least affected"
d: "most courageous" --> "least courageous"
It's should be (d), due to this option more likely to be personal preference rather than judgement that was base on the common sense.
3. Was it easy or difficult to come to agreements with your groups? What made it easy and what made it challenging?
It is not such easy that we just say "Okay‘ to the others. Everyone need express his or her view clearly and appropriately. To convince other group members is the most challenging part for us, so that we recognize that people do have different feelings for the same story.
4. Were you happy with your group’s definition of courage? What would you like to change, if anything?
Yes, I am so happy we got so many good definitions of courage. Especially for the definition: "Dare to take risk not just for you but someone else" That's my favotite.
